Happy Fourth Birthday, Air
Four years ago, Steve Jobs introduced us to the Macbook Air. It was the underpowered, overpriced, ultraportable laptop, and most people belittled it. Today, technology journalists and reviewers praise the Macbook Air for its speed, design, and price [wow!]. I own the most recent 13 inch model and I value it more than my iMac and iPad. I think it’s Apple’s best computer. Now, many...

“Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson When I read this (for English) I think about Steve Jobs…

I forgot to mention something in my mission control video. I have 2 monitors, and unfortunately, full screen apps do not take advantage of them. When I have a full screen app open on my main monitor (my iMac), I can’t use my secondary monitor at all. I rarely use full screen apps now because I lose use of my second monitor. Does this bother anybody else?

Update
Hopefully all of my tumblr followers also follow me on twitter. A few days ago, I tweeted that I would be making Lion videos on Friday (yesterday). Unfortunately, my iMac has been having some graphics issues lately, and yesterday I couldn’t handle it anymore and took it to the Genius Bar. My iMac needs a new graphics card, and they have to order the card and do the repair. This will take...

Things I Carry
A generic formspring question inspired this post. Below is a list of things I carry daily. iPhone 4: It’s a necessity and entertaining. Obviously I have it for communication purposes, but it also serves as a tiny mobile computer. Having access to the internet is amazing; I can google something on the bus, use dropbox to read through study guides that I have created on my computer, and with...

Idea of the day: Apple should reinvent the printer
Printers are a pain in the you know what. They’re noisy, ugly, and inconvenient. Changing ink cartridges is annoying, paper jams are frustrating, and I know I’m not the only one who gets scared of them at night. :P  Imagine if Apple made a printer… It would be sleek, simple, quick, and it would be easy to maintain.

iPad 2: Thoughts
I’m really busy at the moment, but I’ll take a break from homework to jot down my thoughts of the iPad 2. I refuse to use complete sentences because I do not have the time. not impressed, but I want one and I’m getting one probably not worth the upgrade if you have the iPad already (unless you can’t live without a camera) - even with the 2X speed boost YAY dual core...
