Below are my favorite third party Mac apps. Most of these are free.
AppCleaner - to completely delete mac apps
Bowtie - controls, song info, and cool skins when you play iTunes music
ClipMenu - saves what’s on your clipboard, so you don’t have to copy and paste and copy something from before again
Collage Creator - instantly make collages with pictures
Dropbox - cloud storage, syncs across all devices
Evernote - keep yourself organized with lists, notes, clippings, links
Flare - fun photo editor - creative but not gimmicky
Notational Velocity - amazing for jotting anything down - i used it instead of making actual notecards for a research project
Pixelmator - image editing + graphic design, very affordable
Screenflow - best screen capturing software - record + edit + share
Smartr - simple flashcard app
